The Mission of the Delaware STEM Academy is to prepare students in grades 9 through 12 for the future economy through the teaching of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) using engineering, environmental science and energy service as a basis for learning.... in an ethically driven educational environment emphasizing intellectual curiosity, individual responsibility and planetary stewardship.
The Delaware STEM Academy is a free, open enrollment public charter school. There is no tuition nor entrance assessments for students. We welcome all students of high school age interested in learning STEM in a fun and exploratory way!
J. Brett Taylor, Ed.D. is the founder and Executive Director of the Delaware STEM Academy. Dr. Taylor founded the Academy to educate students for careers in engineering and environmental science.
Laura Jennice is the Principal of the Delaware STEM Academy. She is a graduate and facilitator for the Delaware Leadership Project, a former Principal-in-Residence at the Christina School District and certified both as a New Tech Network leader and at-risk interventionist.

The Regular Monthly Meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled for Wednesday, May 25, 2016, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Academy's Administrative Offices, 551 Mews Drive, Riveredge Office Park, New Castle, DE 19720. The public is welcome to attend.
